Vineyards

The Weisser Riesling was harvested from 14 year old (Geisenheim clone 239) unirrigated vineyards, situated on decomposed granite soils, 300m above sea level.

Harvest Date

The grapes were hand-harvested on 8 February 2000.

Winemaking

The Weisser Riesling was fermented in stainless steel tanks to retain the intense lemon-lime and rich tropical fruit flavours typical of the variety. The crisp, fruity acidity is well-balanced by an off-dry finish.
