2007 Jordan Chameleon Rose
Description
Spectacular panoramic views of Stellenbosch and Cape Town, cool hillside vineyards planted to classic varieties, and a modern family-run winery have combined to produce distinctive wines displaying the ripe concentrated fruity accessibility of the New World, with the complex elegance of classic wine styles

Vineyards

Harvest Date
The Merlot was harvested between 6th - 15th February 2007, the Syrah on 21st February 2007 and the Cabernet Sauvignon on 5th March 2007.
Winemaking
The grapes were destemmed and crushed whereafter they macerated on the skins for between 1 – 3 hours before being pressed. After settling for 2 days, the wine was racked and inoculated with local white wine yeasts.
Tasting Notes
Spicy, summer fruit flavours of Syrah and the magic of Merlot add complexity to this rosé. Chameleon-like, the brilliant pink hue and dry, fruity finish make this a wine to change your life.
