Join Jordan at the Knysna Oyster Festival! |
| The Wade Bales Wine Festival, staged in association with Best Life magazine, will be an opportunity for visitors to the Knysna Oyster Festival to meet top winemakers, taste the latest releases and learn about current trends in winemaking, while sampling fresh local oysters and cheese.
Jordan Winery will be present at the festival showcasing a selection of our top wines as well as some new releases.
As one of the highlights at the Knysna Oyster Festival, it will be held at the prestigious Pezula Estate from 9 to 10 July 2007. Over 200 wines from 40 top wine producers will be showcased and the participants include Thelema, Rust en Vrede, Buitenverwachting, Mulderbosch, Steenberg, La Motte and many more.
The Wade Bales Wine Festival runs over two consecutive evenings – Monday and Tuesday, July 9 and 10, from 18h00 pm to 21h00 pm. Tickets are R120 each and include a wine glass, free tastings of some of the best South African wines, a “Goody Bag” plus a choice of six Knysna oysters or a cheese platter.

Gourmet Dinner |
| Husband and wife team – Gary and Kathy Jordan have been making world class wine since 1993 – on a farm whose history dates back 300 years. Join them at Jordan Winery for a exclusive gourmet dinner and experience their generous hospitality in a beautiful setting.
Combining New World wines with classic elegance – Kathy and Gary have provided a selection of their top wines for this premier wine and dine and will be present on the evening to impart their knowledge and passion.
Chef Richard Chamberlain has created a five course menu, true to South African tastes and bold flavours to complement the selection of exquisite wines. Highlights for the wine include pairings with our CWG Auction wines including Sophia and the Chardonnay as well as Old Mutual Trophy Winner 2004 Chenin Blanc. A selection of other Jordan wines will also be available.
This wine and dine will take place on Wednesday, 1 August at Jordan Winery and the evening starts with a welcome drink and canapés in the cellar at 19h00 for 19h30.

Jordan Open Day |
| Jordan Winery will host their fourth annual Open Day on Saturday 17 November 2007, with the proceeds once again going to Stellenbosch Animal Welfare Society (SAWS). This fun-filled day will allow visitors to experience the many aspects of Jordan that make this outstanding Stellenbosch family property.
Events will include vertical tastings, sushi sales, cheese and wine pairings, cellar and vineyard tours. The SAWS will bring some furry friends along at a petting area and there will be collection points for old blankets and food. A silent auction will be held in aid of the Stellenbosch Animal Welfare Society. Pre-order a picnic or bring your own to enjoy on the lawns.
