 Jordan Wine Estate is proud to announce that we will be taking part in Under the Influence of Riesling Festival 2009, an international wine lifestyle festival with the world’s top Riesling producers to be held for the first time in South Africa.
At the Under The Influence of Riesling Festival 2009, 18 of the top Riesling producers and importers will be showcasing over 60 wines through 15 regions across 6 countries in the beautiful surrounds of The Roundhouse Restaurant in Camps Bay Glen in Cape Town.

RIESLING AND FOOD PAIRING EXHIBITION (15H00 – 18H00)
Whilst sampling the carefully prepared dishes of Harald Bresselschmidt of Aubergine, Bertus Basson of Overture, Peter Tempelhoff of The Collection Hotel Group and the Roundhouse Restaurant, you will also be able to engage with and try the wines of eight other top local Riesling producers alongside the international producers and in total 52 wines. This exhibition wishes to showcase the suitability of Riesling as an excellent companion to food.
SUNSET PICNIC (18H00 – TIL LATE)
The exhibition will be followed by a Sunset Picnic to which we will be serving our wines to the dishes of PJ Vadas and the Roundhouse Restaurant on their terraced lawns overlooking the twelve apostles as the sun sets over Camps Bay. Top Hamburg-based music producer Sven Meyer will feature at the picnic creating a beautiful ambience in stunning surrounds.
