JORDAN WINE ESTATE REVEALS NEW LABEL!
|
| 2009-10-12 |
The introduction of the newly designed label will make its first appearance on the 2009 Sauvignon Blanc.
For several years Jordan Estate has been regarded as one of South Africa’s premium wine estates and the new label will be a reflection of the refinements and upgrades currently underway at Jordan.
Designed by Haumann Smal Design Studio the label depicts the Jordan hillsides from a South-East perspective, illustrated in an etched-style on a off-white background with a distinctive bronze-coloured capsule. The Chameleon Range has undergone minor changes to the label and this will be followed by the new look Jordan Reserve Range in 2010.
The 2009 Sauvignon Blanc shows intense complex fruit structure of green and red pepper, with aromatic, herbaceous blackcurrant on the nose. This follows through on the palate, adding tropical fruit and a complex green fig minerality on the finish.
The 2009 Sauvignon Blanc will be available from the cellar end October 2009.
Recommended Retail Price for Sauvignon Blanc 2009 - R66.50
