If you haven’t been to visit us in Stellenbosch, here is what you are missing:
1) Wake up in the vineyards:
In 2015 Gary & Kathy Jordan launched The Luxury Suites at Jordan. Each suite has spacious interiors that are individually designed and uniquely decorated, making the Jordan Luxury Suites an ideal choice for a unique & relaxing Winelands getaway.
Situated just 25 minutes from Cape Town International airport and 15 minutes from Stellenbosch, it is perfectly situated.
Facilities and services include free Wi-Fi, Egyptian cotton linen, Nespresso coffee machine, room safe, air conditioning, HD LED TV with DSTV satellite options, mini-fridge, hairdryer, en-suite bathroom and a veranda with outdoor furniture, the perfect place to sit and enjoy your complimentary bottle of Jordan Estate wine.
Indulge in a stay in our Wine, Dine & Stay special which runs from May to September. A 1 night stay in a Luxury Suite, plus a 5-course dinner at The Restaurant at Jordan, a bottle of wine to enjoy in your Suite, and breakfast at The Bakery the next morning. Interested?

2) Take to the hills and enjoy endless single track
Having a link to the Bottelary Mountain Bike route has made enjoying the trails all that much more exciting! The Bottelary Hills Conservancy (BHC) became a non-profit organisation in 2008 with the assistance of private landowners and conservation authorities who initiated and led the formation of the BHC. The BHC falls within the Cape Winelands Biosphere Reserve where is serves as a buffer zone to protect and maintain the rich biodiversity in the area.
We are pleased to share the same ethos at the BHC and to be a link on the trails.
Buy your day permits for R50 for The Bakery at Jordan and head out to enjoy the most epic views of the Cape Winelands, Cape Town, Table Mountain and take in the flora and fauna of the region.
Did you know that on any given day, if you’ve got good eyes, you can spot the beautiful Cape Dwarf Chameleon, which according to African folklore are believed to have magical powers?
3) The Bakery at Jordan
After your time on the trails, take time to rest and relax with a delicious breakfast or lunch. The Bakery at Jordan is open for breakfast and lunch, 7 days a week, which means the menu changes seasonally, keeping things exciting!
The Bakery atmosphere is relaxed and fun, evident in the modern, yet simple décor in neutral shades with a splash of red, where visitors can unwind and enjoy the freshly produced fare amongst the aromas of baking bread, pastries and freshly brewed coffee.
Watch out for holiday specials and events.
Did you know that all our breads are baked fresh every morning in a custom made wood oven?

4) Enjoy a 360° tour of the estate with panoramic views
Take some time to tour the vineyards in our open safari-style game viewing Land Rover, with stops to experience the spectacular views of False and Table Bays as well as the flora and fauna of the Cape Winelands.
Jordan is unique by nature’s design and there is no better way to experience the terroir & geology of the estate whilst tasting a selection wines in the sustainably grown vineyards.
A selection of wine tastings are available at the tasting room that allow you to taste our award winning wines. From the Estate range all the way through to the Reserve wines.
Did you know that Jordan was awarded South African Producer of the year in 2014 by the International Wine & Spirits Competition?
5) Fine dining with breath-taking views
Chef George Jardine and his team have been in the Top 20 SA Restaurants since opening in 2009. George and his team, focus on local and seasonal ingredients sourced from South Africa’s best suppliers and producers. The Restaurant at Jordan houses a selection of the finest seasonal South African cheeses in a walk-in cheese room. This is NOT to be missed.
Not only do they serve all the wines from Jordan, they have a fantastic selection of rare South African wines to enjoy.
And make sure you don’t leave without tucking into their famous lemon & poppy seed soufflé for dessert.
The Restaurant at Jordan has fantastic winter specials, including two 5 course food and wine pairing experience for the price of one. Alternatively, join them for lunch where you can enjoy any main course off the menu and a glass of wine for just R200 per person.
6) Relax
Situated 25 minutes from Cape Town International Airport and 45 minutes from Cape Town City centre, you’re just a hop skip and jump away from pure relaxation.
At Jordan we are off the grid, which means we do not experience load-shedding. We also have deep underground water reserves which means, although we are cautious about our water consumption, we will never run out of water!
With some of the best bird sightings of the Cape, extensive flora and fauna, world-class wines, fine dining and more, you can sleep, eat, cycle, walk, drink and relax without having to go too far and feel like you’ve had the best vacation ever.
Enjoy a cheese and charcuterie platter on the terrace, to accompany your wine tasting. Take in the beautiful views of the Stellenbosch valley, and simply watch the world go by!
